Cerebral Palsy Lawyer

Cerebral Palsy isn’t the same for everyone. Symptoms differ from victim to victim, and there is more than one type of Cerebral Palsy. What everyone suffering from Cerebral Palsy shares is this: they have suffered injuries to their brains which have permanently damaged their brain’s ability to control body movement and thinking. In many cases Cerebral Palsy is preventable. It often is caused as a result of oxygen deprivation which occurs while the baby is in the mother’s womb.

Often it is a result of a healthcare provider’s failure to perform a timely c-section, Many times mothers have been diagnosed with hypertension, a placental abruption, and fetal distress, and a c-section is unnecessarily delayed, causing brain damage to the baby. Many victims of Cerebral Palsy were injured during the birth process. Unfortunately, there is no known cure for Cerebral Palsy at this time.
